From 25 years on the ground
Walid Freiha
is a Riyadh-based development director and architect by training. For 25 years, he has worked across Saudi Arabia’s real estate, infrastructure, and construction sectors, on the Client, Consultant, PMC, and contractor sides.
With over 27 years of experience, Walid has contributed to some of the Kingdom’s most prominent developments, including King Abdullah Financial District, King Salman Energy Park (SPARK), Diriyah Gate, and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman Non-profit City (Misk City) and the Ministry of Education’s nationwide schools programme
He is known for a forward-looking approach to urban development, integrating innovation into how projects are planned, designed, delivered, and operated.
His work focuses on digitally enabled delivery, stronger cross-disciplinary collaboration, and the exploration of emerging models such as blockchain and tokenization to enhance value across the real estate lifecycle.
Combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution, Walid contributes to more adaptive, resilient, and future-ready urban environments across the Kingdom.
